came in here after a couple drinks on a nice cold night, and the slice of pepperoni was fresh out of the oven and hit the spot!!

without a doubt my favorite place for pizza in Asheville. Whether it's a slice or a whole pie it's Manicomio for me the Sandwiches are excellent too and the rolls are perfect - crisp not crunchy and light and chewy not doughy. plenty of places to sit up front, outside seating is available and there is a big back room for larger groups no matter what, there is always the food

We sat in the back room by our selves (12) nice place for a group. Service was nice. The pizza was excellent the supper thin crust was perfect.

I had lunch at Manicomio Pizza while in Asheville. Manicomio was one of the businesses that gave free food to the community after Helene. I made note as those are the places I want to dine while in Asheville. Pizza is ordered at the counter and brought to your table. They have inside and outside seating although I am not sure if the patio was open while I was there. Personal sized pizzas were all gluten free so to get regular crust I had to order by the slice. Next time I will just order a large. Ordering by the slice is a nice option as you can try a few different types of pizza. I got to try the Hawaiian and the White. Both were delicious. Beverages were just cans or bottled water as water wasn't potable when I was there. I'm sure there are more options now as Asheville water is now drinkable. If you are looking for great pizza in Downtown Asheville, check out Manicomio.

Great experience here. Service was great and there was seating available. When you enter, you order and pay at the counter, and then they bring you your food. It wasn't a long wait for 2 sandwiches, a specialty slice and a calzone. Definitely great for a quick bite when downtown.

Pizza is well made. I was a bit surprised by the fact that they were unwilling to swap one topping for another and we had to remove and add to pay for it. The pizza is super expensive - 14 inch pizza for $25 is a quite pricey. Other than that it's a fine place to get a pizza in a hurry. The parking is paid parking on all the broadway. The service is quick and ambiance is reasonably nice for a pizza place.

A prominent building in the center of the city, this offers a basic necessity: pizza. Importantly, they sell by the slice. Ordering a cheese slice and a slightly leafier Sicilian slice got me a nicely browned crust and contrasting flavor notes from different cheese types. Not the most impressive pizza I've had in Asheville, and their salad selection didn't really do it for me, but of enough quality to be worth the stop in. They have an outdoor seating deck and a brick-lined interior, so it's a nice place to enjoy a slice.
